Does not live up to rated power

I like the overall design of this record case, but I can't bring it up to rated power. Even in direct sunlight, my Victron MPPT charge controller never outputs more than 75 watts with many adjustments. With panels from other brands, getting 100 watts out of a 100 watt panel has never been a problem for me. Maybe I just caught a dud.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great record! best solar panels

Excellent panel. The assembly is on top, even the body is on top. Even better, I bought it on a lightning deal and got a $25 off, even though I had to spend $12 of that $25 to buy an Anderson SAE adapter to connect to my controller. Works great, I got 4 amps out. on a day with just a misty sun. I have a maximum of 5.1 amps. Very nice folder.

I love suitcases!

I had both the Jackery Solarsaga 100 and the Goal Zero Bolder 100. I sold the Solarsaga because I figured I wouldn't need it after moving to a larger power plant. I made a mistake so I bought a Target Zero over 100 to replace. I didn't buy another Solarsaga because I didn't like the padded stand. Well that was a big mistake; Bolder was anything but portable. It was too heavy, which made it difficult to transport and set up, so I ended up selling it. Big Blue is a great middle ground between the

Quality panels in a quality case

I am planning to use this solar panel setup for operating portable ham radios in the field. So far this panel outperforms the two existing panels I've used before. This panel definitely increases performance over the old one, even in less than perfect sunlight. The two old panels were approximately 3 feet by 18 inches and only generated 50 watts in direct sunlight. This panel is half the size and delivers about 120 watts in direct sunlight. there is no light weight over 20 pounds. But the…

Pros
  • hands-free operation
Cons
  • unreliable

This is the second one I bought this year. I used to buy one for our Badlands West Trek so I can edit state parks offline. I liked the first one, but found that my single panel, single battery solar portable ham radio setup required either more battery capacity or more solar power draw. I have chosen both. I am very impressed with the results. I am currently using two of these panels with a couple of 55Ah lead gel cells and a simple cheap solar load controller with lots of built in fuses…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Speed

I was looking for solar panels that I could use to increase the solar charging capacity of my Ecoflow Delta power plant (max 65V DC, 10A). So I bought 4 of these with the intention of connecting 2 groups of 2 in series and then connecting those 2 groups in parallel. I wanted to use this setup to provide backup power during power outages. So basically I would install panels in my garden. The first thing you need to understand is that these solar panels have two Anderson connectors that…
