Great wheels, especially at this price point. I've ridden over 40 miles on these wheels and they work well. They are very fast both when going downhill and when pushing, and are excellent for commuting. I was expecting them to be a bit softer, but by no means would I say the ride is harsh. They hold the line at over 25 mph on smoother pavement. At these speeds, they will occasionally disengage, but only briefly and not enough to make you feel like you're on ice. I'm not a very experienced racer but I've been using my longboard to get around college campus for about a year. I had smaller 83a durometer wheels (this 78a) and they made it very difficult to maintain speed when going through cracks in the pavement.
