I bought two pairs of these embroidery scissors - copper and bronze - and both have slightly curved blades so they don't cut paper - I doubt they even cut embroidery thread! They were securely packaged by the manufacturer so I'm assuming they were already bent when shipped. The uneven color of the handles so that they not only do not cut, but also ugly! I would not buy again!

Probably every avid seamstress dreams of having those perfect scissors and for the last 20 years these have been my Premax embroidery scissors.
