They were a bit stiff at first. they seem to be relaxing. The price was great. A part of one side of the decorative part of the handle has not been painted with black paint so that the decorative part stands out. When I get a chance I'll fix it up with Ranger black alcohol ink.

My favorite pair of scissors! I bought these as a gift for an Amish friend a few years ago. She liked them so much she made me buy 15 more pairs for her family over the years. They're sharp and easy to carry in my purse, although I wish they had a small carrying case so I wouldn't get bumped. I love the design!

It's so cool! Very nice, very smooth finger rings, SUPER sharp and well weighted. I am preparing to order a few more for my sewing workshop. I'm a collector of scissors (I think the trickiest people are haha) and this is a welcome addition. Ask the person having the problem to send you a new pair. Looks like they were damaged in transit. Seriously, these are very good cuts!

The only thing we didn't like was the cutting of the thread at the top, as this is not always cut off and the thread has to be inserted deeper before it breaks. We mainly use this to trim the sewing machine foot and clean the sewn parts when they come off the sewing machine foot. For the price, we really expected the scissors to perform on the tip in those hard-to-reach places every time. Nice but nothing special.

I was skeptical based on some of the negative reviews but I was glad the scissors are sharp all around. The scissors open and close easily and smoothly, but not too quickly if that makes sense. There is the slightest trace of friction. The scissors are a good weight so you feel like you're holding something but not too heavy or too long. I gave them 4 stars to see if the brass finish would wear down with use. I will update this in a year.
