This is a great bottle cage. The only issue I had was that the kit didn't come with the hardware needed to mount it to the bike. I had to go to the local hardware store to buy what I needed. Be sure to purchase a size that fits the pre-drilled holes in your bike frame. I ride a Trek Verve and the propeller size needed was 5mm (5m).

I ride very bumpy rough terrain and I've lost a bottle from the bottom cage every 4 or 5 rides so I've stopped using it. I've had it for many months (about 30 trips) and haven't lost a single bottle since - and I can use store bought bottles to drink (from thin Dasani to thick Gatorade etc) which I would never do. previously viewed

I was a little worried my liter bottle would fall on the curb but it held up like a champ. I was even able to find the perfect cap where I can take my bottle without opening the clip. When not in use, the clip system doesn't stick out that much, so it doesn't look that bad. Just ordered another one to fit a Bluetooth speaker which should fit perfectly. Very happy with this bottle cage but time will tell if it holds up to repeated knocks and dirt.
