I bought this to tighten the "colorful" bafang ring (the one that goes over the bottom bracket locking ring). It doesn't require too much torque so this tool is good enough. Another benefit of this jack is that you can use it after the pedals are installed.

I bought this tool to remove and install a Shimano BBR60. Good thing the new BB comes with a plastic BB installation tool. This tool is too big to fit in the bearing cup which I needed to install the plastic tool that came with the wrench to make it work. I was able to fit a BB but it would be a lot easier with a socket which I will be buying in the near future.

This is the part of the price of the Park Tool model I use. It's not as precise to tolerances and doesn't fully enclose the mount hub like the Park. The aluminum used in the bottom brackets is very soft. It absolutely works, just be careful when inserting it into the slots and take your time. When you're ready. Save money. It does the job at a great price

Good tool at an affordable price. Note: The crank preload tool is simply loose and does not bear on the crank. It may or may not be worth the extra $5 for the blue handle tool to keep this tool by the handle. Not a deal breaker for me. I still keep them together in a drawer in a rolling tool cabinet. It was comfortable to use and matched my Hollowtech II BB bottom bracket very well. He has a very good grip.

Compared to parking tools and other carriage tools, this one has found a permanent place in my toolbox. Easy to use and comes with a dust cap removal tool. Key feature - works with new Shimano BB style cups - a huge plus. The only reason for 4 stars for ease of use was that the dust cap tool didn't have much room to grab the caps and press hard. With a little improvisation, the adjustable little crescent wrench turned into an awesome dust cap tool handle.
