I've been looking for different kits here for a long time and finally settled on this one. I made the right choice. The quality of these instruments really surprised me. The keys are thin but very strong and well made. Every part works very well. Some people have complained that the case doesn't hold the tools properly. That's some nonsense. The tool should snap firmly into place with some force and they will stay in place. That's what you need, you won't be disappointed unless you're replacing

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Almost never

Great starter kit for the bike. HIGHLY recommend

Great set for the price. I got mine today and it's pretty much what I was hoping for. When buying a bike repair kit, my biggest concern was that 75% of them are tools I already have. Sure, I have a few tools in the kit, but most of these are fairly specific to bikes I don't have (considering I already had a pedal wrench, allen wrench, etc.). what I expected, maybe even a little bit better. Keep in mind that this kit is under $50 so you won't get park/snap-on quality. but they are definitely…

Very good tool kit for the price

Everything shown and shown came in the packaging. All the tools and even the carrying case are remarkably strong, sturdy and durable. The tools are of good weight. Some of the tools were loose in the kit case when they arrived, but all of the tools snap into the case so it can be moved around without damaging or throwing away loose tools. Tools in pockets are loose but won't slide out. The cons for me was that the sockets and wrenches didn't fit my bike as they were too small (14 and 15mm) but…

Nice set for the price!

Pretty decent kit. However, I get a little annoyed when these kits come in a case that is too small. I knew I would end up with cheap, useless tools, but figured that at least they would all be neatly organized and available in a molded case. Well, apparently some of the tools were an afterthought because they just dangle in cavities in the case BEHIND the other tools. So if you want to use allen wrenches, you'll need to take out the tire levers and a screwdriver to get to them. I guess it's…

These are not quality tools. The couple is just bad.

These are not quality tools. The couple is just bad. The snap ring remover (YC-126-I) has rough edges around the teeth. This thing was difficult to assemble and basically left my Shimano tail rotor center and cassette lockrings torn. It's almost useless on a front rotor as it won't fit a 20mm axle. So for the front rotor I had to resort to a snap ring with teeth on the outside (SM-HB20) and use a BB wrench which only fits slightly better as it has chipped off the snap ring and is peeling paint.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons

A must when buying a new bike

As a gift to ourselves my husband and I bought bikes to get out of the house and get some fresh air. Due to the pandemic we couldn't go to the store and ask them to pick up our bikes so we did it ourselves at home. I first saw a bike repair kit on another site and after discussing it with my husband we went. looking for one that would suit our needs and not break the bank (the one i saw on another site was quite expensive for what you got). We received this kit the day after his bike arrived…
