Shocks, Struts and Suspension worth every penny

Significantly improved handling on my '99 Cherokee! Pretty easy setup and I'm glad I spent the extra money on quality dampeners.

Pros
  • Shocks
Cons
  • unreliable

By far the best dampers you can get for your money!

I needed new shocks after raising my XJ and Bilstein was on my shortlist. I argued between them and Fox 2.0 and settled on these. I have no regrets because they ride great on and off road. I would 100% buy them again.

Pros
  • shocks, struts and suspension
Cons
  • boring packaging

Very nice, worth the money.

Initially I fitted the Monroe 37027 kit to the rear of my 2.5" 98XJ with lift kit, the ride was not acceptable. They were sharp, resilient and reflected the speed of the Autobahn. They were clearly not up to the task in a light elevator. They have been replaced on all corners with a 2-3" Bilstein 5100 lift. The trip is much better, well worth the money. Time will tell how long they last.
