Bilstein quality, good product.

Three out of four arrived on time. I had to order a fourth one after a month of waiting (lame). I'm happy with how the Jeep handles with H&S springs.

Best Shocks for Stock 97 TJ

Smooth ride, Stock shocks have been around since 1997, be sure to dampen boats with WD40 shocks before attempting to remove them, they have been known to fail. I flooded the bolts with WD40 a week before installing them. Old shocks come off nicely at the rear, old shocks at the front - just cut and trim the upper stem through the rubber mount with a saw. I use them as rear shocks on my unraised '05.

I use them as the rear shocks on my 2005 Wrangler Unlimited with no lift kit. It took them about a week to get used to it. I think they are too soft. On a big hit or dip, the back end sags. Sure, I'm running the original 12-year-old springs and my Jeep is a bit heavy due to the added weight of the reinforced bed and other accessories (plus two extra passengers and gear), but I still find the ride very soft.
