🚗 Bilstein 24-191203 High-Performance Shock Absorber Review

Excellent dampers bought for my 04 Ram 2500 CTD. The truck feels completely different, I no longer feel every bump in the road and am not afraid to drive through small potholes. I replaced all 4 dampers at the same time and the difference was amazing compared to the old dampers that were there. I would highly recommend these shock absorbers for your truck!

The Bilstein 5100 shock absorber (24-191203) is a fantastic shock absorber for a full size truck. to some rocky off-road damage that caused the previous shock to drop out. One is now out of service for no apparent reason and oil is dripping onto the stuffing box. All other shock absorbers are still present and have over 25 km left. The total mileage of this shock absorber is about 39,000 on almost all roads.

Hard to beat for my Dodge Ram 2500 CTD. I put them on my 2010 Ram when it was brand new and it stopped the wheels jumping and bumpy rides on bad roads. After 130,000 km I put in the second set. I've towed over 10,000 pounds for thousands of miles of off-roading, snow, ice and mud in the Idaho mountains, long gravel roads and many freeway miles. These shock absorbers have traveled 130,000 kilometers! They ensure a smooth, stable ride and with the right tires the truck drives like it's on rails…

They are great for cruising with no load or half load, but the compression damping is too soft and the truck is being towed closer to its maximum weight. The standard shock absorber, itself worn out, did not bottom out. If you use your HD 2500 or 3500 truck and tow close to max weight this is NOT for you. If you use it as a daily blank or mute driver, go for it, great beats! Based on other reviews, most users work light and want a softer ride compared to the capacity. I thought this perspective
