Noticeable difference in ride quality

Replaced OEM Rancho shocks on a 3/4 ton pickup. The ranches were completely shot at a distance of 43,000 miles. Thanks to them, the truck is like new again. Driving and cornering performance has improved significantly. I hope I wear them better than the ranchos. Lots of heavy towing that heavily affects bumps.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hardware

My mechanic said my shock absorbers were fine.

2011 Chevrolet 3500 4WD. My mechanic said he thought my shocks were fine after 125,000 miles, but I changed them anyway and saw a definite improvement after installing them. Smoother driving and increased stability on washboard covered gravel roads.

Pros
  • Installation type: vehicle-specific
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Better than stock shocks

Much better than stock shocks but designed for general work, not just towing. I tried to get rid of a few smaller porpoises and they helped but not as well as the ranch. To be fair, they're half the price of a ranch.

Pros
  • Country of origin: USA
Cons
  • Broadly OK, but...

Great shock absorbers for a smoother ride.

These shock absorbers are exactly what I was looking for. Place them on the front of my 2015 Silverado HD. It was hoped they would soften the ride a bit, and Viola, that's exactly what happened. Everything used to shake when the tires hit the joints on the road. Now it just rolls over them. I'm tickled to pieces by the ride I'm getting.

Pros
  • Package dimensions: 10.16 L x 68.326 H x 10.795 W (cm)
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine
