2011 2500 Laramie Longhorn Death Wobble

Fitted with B8 5100 front and rear shocks. Full of rubbish in my opinion! The boost pressure is so high that I turn the steering wheel to the right when I let go of it. Also, after installing the complete Bilstein kit, my truck started to rock and roll severely. I am afraid to drive a truck on wet roads or at high speed for fear of hitting a bump and going off the road. Believe me. Stay away from this brand and try something different. I wish I had!

Check what type of tie rod you have, there are 2 types.

I have a 2008 Ram 2500 that claims to fit this part number. However, please see the attached image to see which version you have. My 2008 model built earlier this year uses a cantilever design. Therefore this part number will not work. Part number for 2007 2500: 24-164870. This is the next part I will order to see if it works. Bilstein shocks are amazing. See the attached picture for the correct part number for your truck. Part Number: Cantilever Assembly: 24-164870 Non-Cantilever: 33-170794

Great quality item with very easy installation

The normal installation is two bolts and takes less time than going onto the garage floor and crawling under a truck. The parts are made of high quality materials and have an attractive appearance. The ride quality of my truck improved immediately. Before that part, when I hit a decent bump, the front seemed to wobble to the left and drive a couple of times before stalling. After installation, the truck sets off immediately. I had no trouble pulling the front end as other reviews haveโ€ฆ

Worth your money, what's the difference!

I was skeptical that it would make such a big difference and damn I was wrong. I was about to buy a different brand dual stabilizer kit and I'm glad I didn't. It really made a difference day and night compared to the stock stabilizer that was in place. It was fairly easy to install considering Dodge uses 18mm and 16mm bolts to mount them and these are NOT the typical sizes you get in wrenches or open end sockets for that matter. Tip: use an anti-seize when screwing the screws back in as theyโ€ฆ

You know, the Germans do good!

I bought this stabilizer bar for my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with my steering upgrade to a newer tie rod configuration. I have Bilstein shock absorbers on said truck and have had them on other vehicles before. Bilstein always delivers high quality products and this one is no exception. It fits perfectly with the new tie rod on the truck. Note. The factory linkage used a stabilizer bar with a tapered pin that fitted onto the stem, and this attaches to a bolt already installed on the stem. Basicallyโ€ฆ

The best steering stabilizer!

My 2011 Ram 3500 had a triple steering stabilizer with Rough Country stabilizers. When I hit a bump at 70 mph and my truck hit a big "death wobble," I knew something was wrong. I checked the 3 stabilizer bars I had on the truck and one of them was defective and the other two remained fully "working". I quickly ordered one of these Bilstein shock absorbers and installed it the same day. 1 Bilstein offered better steering than 3 ever. Came back over a bump that sent my truck spiraling into theโ€ฆ

Better but not amazing

I drive a 2017 RAM 3500 DRW HO with Aisin. This particular stabilizer bar says it's not designed for my truck. Thought I'd give it a try anyway as the dimensions and mounting points were pretty much the same as the stock ones. I measured the length of the stabilizer bar unfolded and folded while still mounted on the truck and concluded it would fit. And so it was. However, I had to relocate the end that attached to the Synergy stabilizer mount; it was too wide. I didn't want to spend money onโ€ฆ
