Suitable for wood and nothing more

I am a blacksmith by trade and if you want to buy a drill for this purpose, do not pay attention. For woodworking, this is just fantastic. Each bit fits well and works very well. Metalworking, however, is a whole different story. Even if you try to drill through soft (unhardened) steel with a titanium carbide bit, the thing will stick. I've tried all five speeds and used cutting oil, but it still refuses to cut through the steel and instead burns my extremely expensive bits. I gave it 3 stars…

Totally misrepresented tool Product

Any surface that appears to be sanded is in fact simply belt sanded to remove paint and give it a "polished" appearance. The quill has a 1.5 mm (0.060 inch) TIR spacing, which causes the drill to wander when trying to "hit the target” or when actually grabbing the material. The vises are made from scrap aluminum, but they actually had a real machined finish; Sorry it wasn't parallel to the raw base of the vise. The spring feed (the part that moves the spring up and down) had a pitch in the gear

Noisy and shaky, very light

(Sometimes images are reversed) Left to right:, Figs. 1 and 2; There was a lot of material (weld spatter?) in the clamp holding the table to the main post that had to be removed with a file and dremel or the table would be crooked. On the 3rd photo is the grandstand. There was a ridge all the way around the top where the table and headstock slide. Probably caused by a cut at the factory. He too had to be cut down.
