Although I looked at the gate myself, this is a good extension. The metal pins holding it to the gate itself are good, fit and strong. My only complaint is that there isn't a wider range of sizes. The size of my door is hardly usable for the main gate. but it's also too narrow to use this extension. Overall I think the extension is good and reliable, but the price is a bit high.
