Bingfu FM Radio Antenna Magnetic Base: Boost FM Signal for Pioneer, Onkyo, Yamaha, Marantz, Sherwood, Bose Wave Music System & Home Stereo Receivers Review

I was hoping to get FM radio stations clearer with a Bose Wave radio but the antenna made little difference. The thing is so light that it will hardly stand on its own. I would be upset if I spent more on this item but thought it was worth a try. It's not like this.

Bought to fix poor reception because the stereo was placed in a corner in the middle of the house. This antenna's magnetic base encourages creative placement to optimize reception. I taped mine to the ceiling! Even though I finally caught my favorite radio station, I still had signal loss as I walked past the antenna. Pass the antenna end of the coaxial cable twice through a ferrite choke, which completely eliminates these dropouts. Have fun while listening :)

Got more stations through the surround tuner than before but I actually only hear one. So the reception is better than before but still limited which doesn't really give me the choice I would have liked. My cheap old stereo set in the same room gets more. I like that it has a long cord, it's thin and unobtrusive. Had to attach it to the top rail of one of the mini blinds (it has a magnetic underside) before it made any difference.

I bought it because it had everything I wanted in antenna, small magnetic base, adapter for different VHF antenna connectors, long cable. 4 stars because of above. Due to the location, I can't yet judge whether it works. Once out I will check reception and re-evaluate if it deserves more stars. The price was good in my opinion, it arrived a day early and appears to be of quality material. All in all I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a moving antenna.

I connected this antenna to a Bose radio and heard no difference. I usually have interference when people are standing in a certain area of the house, this hasn't helped take away the clarity of the channel. I have a Bose upstairs that skips one of my favorite channels. I was hoping this antenna would help link the channel so I could set it as my favorite channel.
