It really works.: Accessories and supplies

The antenna works, I just connected it to my radio and fixed it to the top right hand corner on the inside of the windscreen and the radio was crystal clear. You don't have to drill a hole in the wing like you would with a traditional antenna. Didn't really think it would work when I bought it but for the price I thought I'd give it a try. I made a smart purchase. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • So-so

Weak reception or its absence.

I installed this on the FM radio in our camper van to improve reception over the stock mast antennas. At best, this device could give the same signal. No improvement, of course, and it's difficult to pick up even the strongest stations around. It works but very poorly unless you park next to the radio station you need. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Excellent quality, solved my problem in just a few minutes

Let's start by saying this is not a signal booster. So whoever is complaining has not improved the signal and will not do so. My factory antenna line on my Honda Odyssey was short and could only receive a radio. I live in a densely populated metro area with at least 20 stations so it was pointless. I've tried replacing just the part of the antenna itself but to no avail. So I bought this and drew a line through the moldings where the rearview mirror is. This easily solved my problem.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Frequency

Not suitable for AM reception in my situation - I do not use FM functions

I bought this unit for AM reception only, to test old AM car radios in my office. After lots of experimentation, I've found that using a 2ft alligator wire for AM reception works a lot better than this antenna, unless I'm standing and holding one end of the antenna (the other end in particular doesn't help). I tried to fix it everywhere - in the windows under the ceiling, dropped it on the floor. I've tried wrapping it in tinfoil (helps a bit), tinfoil strips, tinfoil fans, whatever. For theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Dear

Worked for me:: Antennas

I have a 2013 Honda Accord and decided to replace the head unit. What a nightmare. Aside from the insanely expensive Metra kit you need, you'll also need to run the 200" antenna extension wire to the TRUNK Well, if I wanted to use the factory antenna, I'd have to run that 200" extension wire from the new radio , completely in the trunk (at the back of the side wall on the passenger side there is a special small module, I would have to connect the antenna extension there if I wanted to use theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
