This product is a complete waste of money. The quality is poor and the screws are difficult to use. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice with other tools and home improvement products, I found that these screws were not worth the time and effort. The only pro was the quantity for the price, but I would much rather spend a little more for a better product. The cons significantly outweigh the lone benefit. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for better options.

I bought these nuts thinking they would be strong for use on a cut off saw as a bar nut as they are said to be carbon steel. They are made of very soft metal and will not last long. To test them I drilled through one of them and a real nut. The rod nut took maybe 30-40 seconds to get through. This nut took 2 seconds for the drill to push through. They can work for lighter applications, but definitely no more.

I needed M8-1.25 nuts to attach the table legs and they fit perfectly! Also, the black chrome finish is very attractive and will hopefully last a long time, although my application will not expose them to the weather. I also used 5/16" black flat washers under these nuts. The clear hard plastic packaging they come in is very handy for storing unused nuts and is labeled for identification. High quality at a great price!
