I've always used bio-ion straighteners. The main problem I have is that they keep shorting out due to the cable. I recently got a new one and found it pulling on my hair. I was at Sephora the other day and saw a Dyson hair straightener. A little pricey but I decided to buy it. The two main advantages I've found with the Dyson iron are that it doesn't pull hair and it's wireless. The two problems I had are no longer a problem. I'll keep this iron just in case, but I like the cordless Dyson.
