Calm my conscience!

I bought these bags because I needed to take my yard waste to a landfill. I'm tired of putting compostable material in plastic bags. When I found these biodegradable plastic bags, I wanted to try them. Yes, they are more expensive than "real" plastic bags, but I want but need to make conscious consumer choices to help reduce the use of traditional plastic as much as possible. Partially Biodegradable

When I bought these bags I thought they would be perfect for collecting waste in my compost bin. The problem is that there are two main problems.1. It's not sustainable. Anything even slightly wet will begin to degrade parts of the packaging. I can't keep some fruit in a bag for more than two days without the bag starting to tear apart.2. Sometimes it's nice to be wrong.

Was skeptical of BioBag's ability to make functional business bags as I need to handle their kitchen bags with care. I thought to myself that at worst I would only use them as kitchen bags. They are significantly thicker than indoor BioBag products and hold a decent amount of stuff.
