🕊️ Birds Choice Seed Catcher Platform: Open-Top Solution for 21-1/2X21-1/2 Birds Feeder Review

Birds and I love this tray. Are now about 3/4 years in use and show no signs of weathering. Installs easily under my feeder and keeps the floor under my feeder clean. Birds love to sit on it and it's very easy to clean with the removable trays. Now I have fewer skunks, raccoons and squirrels in my yard.

First class construction and finish, beautifully rounded frame corners. I attached it to a pole just below the feeder so seeds falling from the feeder wouldn't fall to the ground and attract rodents. Mourning Doves started doing it right away. There is no Junco yet, but there are still many seeds on the ground, so they don't need it yet. The center hole is 1.5 inches in diameter. I had to make an adapter to fit my 1" rod. It would be nice if they included this - I don't see it for sale…

I have used this platform in combination with a pole cover and they work great together. The platform is now large enough for many birds to be on it at the same time without overcrowding and fighting. I had a smaller version of this platform; but the birds seemed to be too full and with the update I have more birds visiting the feeder. This platform seems pretty rock solid and after a few months the blue jays were constantly holding seeds with their little paws on the platform and then knocking

Without this seed tray, I had mounds of scattered bird seed and seed trays all over the nearby steps outside the deck, in the patio below, and all over the deck. I vacuumed, swept and mopped two to three times a week. I used a parasol bracket and some galvanized pipe and fittings from a local recycle shop (painted black) to mount these under the feeder and it made a HUGE difference.
