My gray parrot has several different wooden toys on a movable perch, but this little one seems to be his favorite. So I replaced it with a new similar one made alternately with these and other beads. He loves these babies. He bites them off and throws them to the bottom of the pole. It keeps him busy, and it's what it takes to keep him from getting bored.

My sun conure LOVES them! I bought 2 packs and they stand up perfectly to my birds aggressive chewing! Probably best for small to medium sized birds. I could see larger parrots/birds chewing them much faster than the parakeet due to the size of the product compared to the larger beak. Overall they are durable and lasted up to several hours of chewing on my medium sized birds.

The Amazon packaging smelled even before I opened the box. All my stuff in the box smelled like leather. I let it sit for a day and my whole house started smelling bad. I tried throwing the packaging away but the skin still smelled so bad it made my eyes water. I washed my hands 3 times after the treatment and the smell still stays on my hands. I don't know what's wrong with that skin, but it can't be safe for birds. I am not sure if this is safe for me. i give it back Too bad. It looks good.
