Bissell BGC2000 Hercules Canister Vacuum - Commercial Grade Review

Required a small canister that was easy to carry from room to room, garage and upstairs. Easy to use and manoeuvrable, this vacuum cleaner does its job well.

Was quite surprised by the maneuverability of this vacuum cleaner while in use and when taken along it turns on its side like it would catch fire during use, not to mention from the cable . a bit short, although the suction power is good

I bought it for small jobs and I use it for everything. Its suction power is much better than my Dyson Animal and it's comfortable and light. My only issue is that the hose isn't flexible enough and when the canister is on the ground it tips over when I twist the nozzle to get things out, but I wouldn't mind. I'm actually considering buying another one so I can have one on every floor of the house.

This thing works great on hardwood tile floors and thin carpets, plus it's very light so you won't break your back vacuuming. definitely not built to withstand abuse, it's very light, in fact some of it might be a scam, but at $80 compared to the Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal POS (which I returned thanks to Costco) which cost five times as much and one Part of Little Hercules had outperformed Dyson in every way, except that Little Hercules has a chord. I bought this to replace an Orreck vacuum with a small bin. It's not an Orreck, it's of much lower quality and doesn't stand upright on the floor or stairs. The power cord is too short, the connection hose is too stiff and the tools are of poor quality. I use my Bissel compatible Orreck tools. I use it but it doesn't last 5 years like the old Oreck. This purchase started out great but went downhill quickly. When I first received this item, I plugged it in and turned it on, but it wouldn't start. I turned it off and tried again and it caught fire so I continued cleaning. The switch randomly turned off while cleaning and I had to turn off the switch, unplug and restart to turn it on.
