Clear improvement, I would recommend to everyone but the smell doesn't last long as I expected but my vacuum cleaner smelled horrible before I did changed it, so even the pleasant smell is gone, but it can still prevent bad smells. Anyway, I'm very happy with it and would choose it over a new standard filter any day of the week.

I have dogs and my vacuum needs to be handled with care. I took it apart to clean the filter and put it in the vacuum when my little puppy ate the filter 😂 I was looking for a filter that could be delivered the next day and this was one! Other reviews said the smell didn't last long but it was really nice not being able to smell the dog when I was vacuuming! I felt like he scored more points too. I've only used my new vacuum a couple of times and bought extra accessories to keep them on hand. My order came faster than expected. Haven't had to use this filter yet as the one that came with the vacuum is fine - just rinse and dry, replace. I expected the replacement filter to smell very nice. I opened the pack to smell the Febreze and was a bit disappointed as the scent was very light. I won't be buying this again, buying a regular filter instead - and using carpet deodorant.

I gave it two stars. One for the great smell and the other for the easy installation. But if, like me, you suck every day, you might want to consider other options. The smell lasted a week and a half at most. So if you only vacuum once a week then it can cost money. I used hand and hammer carpet powder with my old vacuum. I poured 1/2 box straight into the bag and the smell lingered until I changed the bag about once a month. And I can get it at my local store for 99 cents for the dollar…

These Febreze filters are a waste of money. Although the filters actually filter well despite being thinner than a standard filter, the smell only lasts for 1 or 2 vacuuming sessions. In addition, after washing, the smell disappears completely. These filters are ridiculously overpriced for what they do. You can buy a pack of 6 original Bissell vacuum cleaner filters for just over one of these Febreze filters. Simply spray on a standard Febreze filter or one of your favorite air fresheners and…
