Ideal for steam cleaners, steam mops and accessories

I am so happy I made this purchase. I have had the Bissell Powerfresh Mop for a long time. Part of the water tank has broken off on the inside. I could pull it out. It's blue while the original was white and orange. At first I thought it looked appropriate. But it fits perfectly. My mop is like new. The color difference doesn't bother me at all. I'm glad I don't have to buy a whole replacement mop!

1940a Fit Problem Solved

I ordered this to replace my 1940a. At first I couldn't figure out why it didn't quite fit in the wiper fluid tank compartment. Then I realized that when my old tank broke, part of the lid fell into the mop. After removing it with needle nose pliers this tank popped up easily and worked fine. For those who say it doesn't fit, check your mop's tank compartment to see if there are any parts that need to be removed first.

Bad Design - Vacuum Cleaners and Floor Care

Perfect replacement part for my 1940 Bissell but Bissell should redesign this part. This is the second time I've had to replace it. As many others have said in the reviews, the black part that you bolt onto the tank is poorly designed. The problem has nothing to do with the threads of the cap. The lid breaks when the water tank is pulled out. I do this CAREFULLY as this has happened twice with 3 uses of each cap. Bissell sells this on their website but I think it should be a free replacement as
