Great for the price, accurate and reliable.

These blocks are strong and heavy. They feel solid and should be strong and show no signs of rusting after a few weeks in a damp environment, but I take care of my tools. They are as accurate as I can measure, which is microns. They are as advertised and are great to install and use in the shop. For the price they are very good and should last a while.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Definitely recommend.

Unbelievable price! Right out of the box, they're tested within 0.0002! You can't beat them for that much money. The edges are finished but not sharp enough to cut or scrape. The corners are beveled right at the ends to avoid splitting. They're highly polished and have that weird cosmo/petro/beeswax mix that's going into it all. But it protects it from rusting in storage and is pretty easy to remove. Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • One-piece construction
Cons
  • Without automation

Product arrived in terrible condition

Great concept. In my case the item was wrapped in a partially torn cloth soaked in oil (presumably to protect the surface from corrosion). The shipping and packaging was ridiculous: those heavy items were thrown into a padded envelope (with another item!). Upon arrival, the padded envelope was torn (and very dirty; UPS did not provide any assistance), the box was the product in was fried, and after cleaning the blocks I found that the product (one of the two blocks) was on 4 or 5 places was cut

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I will add later
