While the product looked solid, the reviews were 100% accurate. This product is fragile and a waste of money considering it's designed for outdoor use but doesn't stand up to the shipping process. But what's even worse is the company's customer service. This is the most disgusting return process we have ever experienced. That we only got a 50% refund after paying return shipping and restocking fees is just ridiculous!

Door flaps have a nylon shaft which can easily break if the flap is lifted too high (e.g. if small children are playing with the slot). After these bars break, the doors no longer close tightly and slam shut with every breath of wind. My attempts to contact the manufacturer and buy new rods (which can't cost more than pennies to make) have gone unanswered. We have spent a lot of money on this product and were pleased with the look and fit. The problem arose when an overzealous delivery person overstretched the outer flap. The nylon rod did not break, but a very thin and narrow shaped loop in which the nylon rod was twisted broke; so the flap got stuck on one side and was completely unusable. The frame metal feels like a cheap, brittle "metal pot" with no hope of repairs. Buy new. I do not think so! I will NEVER save enough power on this thing to…
