🔍 Black Blum Charcoal Filter Replacement Review

I'm glad I have these charcoal sticks. They make water easier to drink by giving it a pure, mild taste. Not harsh like tap water or even distilled H2O. They come individually, vacuum sealed, with instructions on the outside of the package. However, my most recent order arrived with a broken wand. I have contacted a Black+Blum representative in hopes of a replacement, but nothing has happened so far.

I only got these carbon sticks for the supposed PH balancing effect. I took pH paper and tested the water before inserting the sticks. I then tested the water 2 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours after the sticks were in the water, the pH has not changed. I cannot confirm the chemical cleaning aspect of these sticks as I have not tested them. I only got them to balance the pH of my reverse osmosis water.

Never used for water. Instead, I keep one in the air fryer to help absorb the food's smells and flavors from the oil. I was very unsure if this would work, after all it's not designed for that, but I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, I was so blown away by how well it absorbed odors that I bought another pair when it came time to replace them. While 1 piece lasted me almost 6 months, I will use a new one after 6 months. It's worth it!

Put it in a bottle of water and let it sit for about half an hour, it works wonders. Fresh, clean-tasting water doesn't have to wait 8 hours. I took this on a trip to an area with horrible tasting tap water and was able to drink this water after sitting in it for about thirty minutes. However, this does not fit in some water bottles.
