Put it in a bottle of water and let it sit for about half an hour, it works wonders. Fresh, clean-tasting water doesn't have to wait 8 hours. I took this on a trip to an area with horrible tasting tap water and was able to drink this water after sitting in it for about thirty minutes. However, this does not fit in some water bottles. It's long and quite thick - if your bottle is short and/or doesn't have a large enough opening for ice cubes, it probably won't fit. While it works quickly in a water bottle, it's not instant. If you want an instant drink, grab a Camel or Brit bottle. If you want delicious water from a glass bottle, this is one of the few options.
