BLACK+DECKER 4-Slice Stainless Steel Toaster with Ombré Finish - TR4310FBD Review

Before I bought this toaster I was researching to replace a broken toaster and judging by the reviews of available toasters I expected to be disappointed. Despite this, I am very satisfied with this toaster. I've had this for a while now and can't find anything that bothers me. I like it.

After reading many reviews from different brands I have come to the conclusion that many people expect too much from a toaster and many others were a little picky about their toast. So I bought this strictly by brand name. I've had good luck with many B&D products. This works as expected, delivering toast that is evenly toasted on both sides in a reasonable amount of time. So I'm happy.

Toasters don't make the way they used to. My parents' toaster lasted about 25 years. The maximum lifespan of a toaster is 3 years. Before that I had a Black + Decker toaster that lasted just over a year. This gets the record for the shortest lifespan at 3 days, 6 uses. Well worked fine about a week ago. One side toasted on one side of the bread only! I called to find out what the toaster warranty is. 2 years! Brilliant! They wanted the number on the fork. Bought this toaster to replace the 4 slice toaster we had for 10 years. Our old brand/model of toaster was discontinued so we had to start from scratch, reading reviews etc to find a new one. This toaster lives up to all the positive reviews that have been posted about it. We bake our own homemade bread in a bread maker, so our slices of bread are larger and have a different shape than the uniform store-bought bread.
