Fantastic coffee maker

Bought this coffee maker with an Assurion Revain gift card after our old coffee maker died. OMG what an amazing coffee maker! Very well built and easy to use. B&D recommends heating the vacuum jug with hot water just before brewing to keep the coffee hotter for longer. We've found that it certainly works well, which speaks volumes for the quality of the double-walled decanter. Speaking of which, the carafe is a bit heavy, but the "non-drip" spout works absolutely as advertised. at the end ofโ€ฆ

CM2045B-1 12-cup coffee maker Review: Large capacity, improved quality, quiet brewing

I bought a newer version of the 12-cup coffee maker (CM2045B-1) and I like it much better than the previous one one (CM2035) . It is well made and has a large capacity in a small body size. It works quietly, but needs more than 20 minutes for a "strong" brewing mode. No signal at the end. This is ideal for not waking up other family members. The display is easy to read for the time, but the PM indicator is harder to see. The water tank is inside the unit, so I use a large jug. Pour water. Large

Buy It Now! for coffee machines

What did I expect? i drink a lot of coffee Now I always had a glass jug coffee maker and walked down Keurig Street for a while (hated it). After my third glass kettle broke in the last few years, I started looking for a stainless steel pot. I've seen some with a water tank, but I gave up on that one. Good fresh water makes good coffee. This one seemed to get good reviews so I ordered it. Boy am I glad I did! The pot is huge (many stainless steel pots only had 10 cups, this one had 12). Theโ€ฆ

Built to last but makes good coffee

This machine makes good coffee and I purposely bought it with a thermal jug instead of a warming tray due to a problem with breaking glass jugs. If you buy this device make sure you understand that it doesn't have a heating element to keep the coffee warm, but the insulated carafe worked well for us. This device lasted 5 months after brewing two to three cups a day. I'm assuming the heating element is the problem, and it's the same problem as other reviews in that it only pumps a cup or two ofโ€ฆ

Great performance for a compact vacuum jug

Great coffee maker for those looking for a compact 12 cup vacuum jug coffee maker. Makes a delicious cup of coffee, especially when set to fat. After two hours I did a temperature check - it stays at 149 degrees - we are satisfied. The brewing cycle is quite long. If you're impatient or can't plan ahead when using a programmable feature, buy something else. The carafe is well balanced, easy to pour, easy to clean and not too heavy. Be sure to thoroughly flush the production oils from the brewโ€ฆ
