🔥 Efficient Black+Decker TR1300BD Small Toaster: The Perfect Kitchen Companion Review

I DO NOT recommend this product. The bread burns even on the lowest setting and I didn't press the FROZEN button. Black & Decker used to make high quality stuff, but this thing was cheap. I will not buy any B&D product again. Attempts to cut costs and increase profits don't keep or win customers.

I bought this because of the bagel function which wasn't working. The bagel was burned on both sides, the cut and the outside, and it was low. Read the manual, which suggests just toasting the cut sides by putting the bagel in and pressing the bagel button.

Go back. The toast slots are disappointingly small. I would have had to cut my bread slices in half to use them. The crumb tray on the floor is also impractical. I bought it for the looks, but the function was disappointing. This unit is suitable for an RV or a very small apartment where space is at a premium.

This toaster has worked perfectly until today. Now it's stuck in bagel mode, so our toast is only toasted on one side. We tried different ways of pressing the buttons, unplugging and plugging back in (as if the electronics needed a reset, but whatever.). I'm still stuck on setting up a roguelike. We saved back and forth to our old toaster (5 year old kitchen) just in case.

Lasted only 9 months with moderate use The coils on both insides stopped working and only toasted the outside of the bread. It is difficult to open the bottom tray to spill out the crumbs. It's hard to see the arrow on the watch face to tell what settings you've enabled. The cable is uncomfortable and leaves in the front, not the back, plus the cable is very short. Disillusioned with Black & Decker, don't make them the same.

This toaster has met my expectations with incredible acceptance. I've probably never seen toast bread with such toasting features. It's like this toast does everything it's supposed to do and nothing else. My only gripe is that the outlet wasn't close to the table I wanted to put it on, so I had to get an extension cord. So I'm reducing my rating from 6 to 5 stars. I recommend enough.

I just wanted a toaster to toast my bread or bagels and it does a great job. I use number 2 (light) or 4 (dark) for my bread. You should try it yourself and find the best settings for your bread taste. It's small and doesn't take up too much space, plus it fits my other devices. I am so happy with this purchase. Let it cool, shake off the crumbs and wipe down after each use and it will remain a nice new toaster.

I haven't had a toaster for 4 years and I'm telling you, the toast in the oven is not the same. This little thing is perfect! Who needs a million buttons on a toaster? UPDATE: Five months have passed and now the bread lever no longer works. If you want to stand there, hold the lever and wait for your toast, and don't mind the numbers being hard to see or completely erased, then this toaster is for you.
