    Clean, quality connections

    I'm using this to update my Camaro 68's electrical system for the daily commute. The thing is durable and looks clean. I highly recommend it for positive and negative auto links.

    The quality is good but big!

    I underestimated the size of this block. I just needed something to hook up my high beam headlights. This is what you want to use for high power or multi battery systems like a big boat. This is overkill for most automotive needs. It's well built and looks like it could easily handle 500 amps.

    Find something else

    Cheap chinese junk. On first use one of the nut/stud bolts broke off and was pinched. It's amazing how tightly they connected, even when I was very careful not to confuse them. I literally had to cut off the end of the spade (see photo) to return the item! It was easier than sawing the hairpin with a hacksaw. Such a disappointment.

    Disassembled unit for the curious

    I wanted to see this product explode, this view would help me. Maybe that helps others. All fittings are stamped 316 S/S. I've seen reviews that iron sticks. I replace the lock washers and nuts with nylon lock nuts and add anti-seize threads. Maybe this will solve the problem people are having.

    Difficult to install the cover and why the nuts are 11/16 inch

    I have used these or something similar before. This time, after installing the #2/0 tabs, the cover will not fit into the holes The cover. Not really a big deal as I just had to drill them out a bit more. Big screws too. In my opinion the cover should fit after tightening the nuts, and 5/8" nuts should suffice. The only reason I would give them less than 5 stars is that for the price they should be top notch.

    Nuts worn on the bolts

    After installing the POS and NEG terminal blocks in my RV I needed to make wiring changes. When I tried to remove the nuts I had installed on the terminal blocks, 3 nuts hit the bolts and I couldn't get them loose. I removed the bolts and nuts by cutting them in half with a dremel. I removed both terminal blocks, disassembled, replaced all 8 stainless steel bolts with 3/8" x 1 1/2" zinc grade 5 bolts and nuts. Otherwise the terminal blocks are OK. Looking back I would say 20/20. I would like to
