Black White Bundle Gutermann 3281 Yard Review

I prefer Gutermann thread for almost all of my work and am so glad they sell the primary colors in large spools. I have two cone holders behind my car and switch back and forth as needed. That saves time and money. This is my second purchase and I intend to continue doing so in black and white.

I bought this thread for my daughter. I bought them for Christmas complete with a new sewing machine. Her face as she opened the Guttermann thread was priceless. She finally said you bought Gutermans Cones OMG threads! She couldn't believe I bought her "good stuff". So right now, I'm pretty high on that "popular" list.

I knit on a Bernini 830 machine so it's great to have a large supply of high quality cotton thread. These machines are very picky about the thread and that thread runs smoothly with no extra fuzz, tangles or breaks. I missed the entire cone without refilling. The only time I actually change thread is for this product in a different color.

I have been using Gutermann cotton thread for sewing quilts top and bottom for a number of years. This high-quality cotton thread is pressed against the cotton fabric to form beautiful, clear stitching. Clear seams make it easier to match blocks, and the quilter sews seams more smoothly without puckering. It also works as upper thread on my quilting machine. It's just a very good quilting yarn.

I love these thread colors. If you're just starting out in quilting, these are the first colors to own. These are the primary colors that you need to master. More than black and white. They are very neutral and can be used on many different fabrics. The quality is amazing too. I usually use Aurifil thread when quilting, but it's quite expensive so I needed an alternative.
