Disappointing Quality of Cotton Connector

My analysis of this product showed that the cotton material used was flimsy and prone to wear and tear, which made the connector unreliable in the long run. While the houndstooth pattern was visually appealing, it did not outweigh the lack of durability that this product had.

Perfect vintage cable

I bought this vintage cable to replace the 69 year old wiring in my sewing machine. The new cable exceeded all my expectations. It wasn't easy because my father never allowed me to do anything electrical, it was his department. He was a trained electrician, but luckily he let me watch. It took me a bit of trial and error to figure out what to do, but I remade the original bake-like fork that connects to the sewing machine and pedal.
