I bought this muffler expecting it to be $20 less than one in the auto zone, it will save you money and that's since it's for a car wreck who cares about the sound , even if he doesn't do it the way you want. Still needs welding and after the whole process the muffler itself has loosely constructed parts inside and sounds incredibly awful! Everyone is watching! Will now cost even more than one that would have been nice and a waste of time

Great muffler for the money, sounds great on my 1988 Toyota 3.0L V6 pickup. So glad I bought this instead of an expensive Flowmaster which doesn't really sound any better, that black harsh racing sound sounds better than the Flowmasters I've ridden and cherry bombs and dynomax mufflers. Super super happy with the muffler and I have more options on the Autobahn when the double discs come out. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

If you want the raspy sound of a muscle car, this muffler is for you. I put a stock TBI 350 in and then just reset it and it's loud, I mean loud. It's not for the faint of heart. I wanted my old Chevy to sound like a muscle car, and I did. The drone in the cockpit is minimal. If you have neighbors, consider getting your v8 up and running before sunrise. It will wake up some. I would compare it to the Flowmaster 10 series with a sharper and breathier sound at a great price.

I drive 03 Ram 1500 4.7L.
