Love it! for bedding

I love this duvet! It's soft and flexible. Warms up quickly. I use it in the car to warm up before the car gets hot. Sometimes I put it on the seat and half throw it over me. Sometimes I just put it on my lap. Bought 2 more for friends. There is a good tote bag. I got it only after the severe cold winter ended, but I'm sure I'll like it even more next winter. And ----- it was cheap. This blanket on the bed is three times more expensive! My girlfriend also uses it indoors - she bought an…

Chase away the chill for electric blankets

Okay, why do I need a little 12 volt electric blanket. I have a motorcycle with a sidecar and an electrically heated jacket. But the mistress has an electric blanket. Now our ski season has really gotten longer here in the Northeast. She tucks the blanket around her legs and upper body. No more cold, tearful kilometers. When the motorcycle is winterized, the blanket is transported to the car. It's amazing how much it's used.

poor performance good for duvets and bedspreads

This product takes forever to warm up. This makes no sense as a standard electric blanket is only around 80-100 watts of power while a car lighter produces many times more. I bought 3 of these for boating and tested in my car beforehand. It took all three of them about 30 minutes to warm up and even then they weren't very hot. To be honest the cord got hotter than the ceiling. I would give one star but they get a bit warm, very cheap and can work with a sleeping bag over them. Just don't expect

Must have for cold winters!

I bought this product because I don't have heated seats in my car and I'm always cold! (I live in Chicago) It heats up in minutes and I love it! I use it while driving to keep my feet warm and it doesn't bother me. It's big enough for maybe 2 people kneeling down (I thought I originally intended for more) but I'm glad I'm comfortable. I'm 5ft 7in, 130lbs and it's great for a quick warm up when you're waiting for your car to warm up! It has a timer, 30 or 45 minutes until it turns off. My only…

heats up normally at 40 watts (is better)

Tried it out as soon as I arrived and read the instructions. if your car heater is not working properly. or when the heat is low in the back of your car, this blanket is perfect for in-car use, but not otherwise. This product is only powered by 40W DC power. Running the blanket with the car off will definitely kill your battery. If your car has no problems with heating, then you need a regular blanket. I bought it for breaks when traveling in the cold months (I have a separate generator) so I…
