Blaupunkt PORTLAND 6 2 Inch Navigation Bluetooth Review

The radio is definitely worth the money. The radios won't turn on like my old radio and the Bluetooth quality when playing Pandora isn't very good. The navigation works great, which is why I bought it.

bought this radio thought yes i used to have a blaupunk very good radio well that was then now it is rubbish from china i even bought 4 years insurance from square trading. I open a case and deny that this insurance is also a scan. Don't buy anything from Blaupunk or Square Trade.

Time slows down by a minute in my truck and my husband's truck. I restarted then it went back to the wrong time when I turned off the machine. The GPS covers the 80 km route every few seconds. The blue phone sucks. People don't understand me. Radio reception is poor in several areas. My husband wants me to upgrade but I don't want anything from this company.

I bought another Blaupunkt Portland radio a few months ago. It's my own fault for not realizing it was the 640 series, me. mistakenly thought Blaupunkt Portland was Portland. The 640 series is great. Series 310 - NOT. FM radio reception is terrible. The radio plays awkwardly. To change the channel, you need to press the button to return to the settings. I bought 2 310s at the same time. Both have poor radio reception. GPS works fine.

Problems right out of the box. Every time I turned the ignition off, the stations would reset and the date would reset to a different date. There were also problems with Bluetooth. Radio reception was very sporadic. I've tried three different ones and the same thing with tennis. Send it back to the factory or repair center once. The return took almost a month. Won't save the right time. Every time you switch off the ignition, the time is set back by 3 hours. I wonder if any of you have had this experience. I think everything will be fine if you live in a time zone that is in EST! Tried with OTHER Blaupunkt models, same result. Tried swapping the red and yellow wires. It did not work. It used to be 15 hours ahead, but now it's only 3 hours ahead. I checked the GPS time zone which didn't matter. The touch screen and remote control are a joke. Oh yeah…
