Durable and suitable for emergency tire changes on the road.

Well done. It lifts the second wheel of a two-axle leaf spring trailer with enough clearance to change a wheel on level ground, but if not careful it can hit the trailer fender. I recommend finding a spotter who can yell stop! if necessary, or intervene by giving Brawllock a well-placed kick as the follower pulls up beside him.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Full metal!: Tires and wheels

Almost durable. This is the easiest way to level a caravan/motor home/motor home. Single or double axis. I use one on my 21ft trailer, my brother in law uses it on his 35ft fifth wheel. So easy to use. You can't guess how many yellow/orange Lego bricks you need to build the stairs with. You can use the stabilizer. Much stronger than plastic. Sometimes it can slide if the ground allows it - sometimes gravel or concrete. Easy to prevent. I love this shop!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Good quality product but doesn't work in all cases

Conclusion: It doesn't suit my application which is a fairly heavy three axle cargo trailer. The problem is that when fully loaded the trailer sits too low to be used (the product is quite large) and on the triple the second axle doesn't start. I rated it high because I think it is a very high quality product and if you have a high clearance trailer like a utility trailer or enclosed snowmobile trailer it would be perfect. For my application I only have to use a bottle jack.

EASY trailer leveling solution

This is the perfect trailer leveling solution without lugging bits of wood etc. Controlling this requires getting down to the ground and in some situations getting the trailer to crank high enough is quite tiring. A camper friend used a similar product to this Blaylock and we loved it. the simplicity and speed of their alignment process. We chose Blaylock because it's a bit longer and offers better alignment and the metal doesn't crumple like plastic.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • No automatic steering

Perfect jack for 2 axle road trailer

This is a high quality jack for my 2 axle road trailer. Street. I also use it to level RVs (customer service has confirmed it can be used for this purpose too). I placed planks under the other wheel to prevent putting too much weight on the axle with a jack when using it to level my setup. All that's left is a bump drive that lets you change a flat tire with near NASCAR efficiency, which is especially important for safety when the flat tire is on the side of the rig, or better yet, TPMS and…

  • Sturdy construction

I didn't get off the ground on the fifth second wheel.

My five wheel trailer has two axles. The connections between the springs allow one wheel to stay on the ground when the other is lifted. This is probably common with caravans. I still have to use a jack to change a tire, but this device does some of the work of getting the wheel off the ground. I should be able to lift the tire with just a little jacking up because this device does some of the work. I didn't try to get the wheel off the ground, so that's my guess. This is a great level. Much…

Works perfectly. Until I try to drive off

I bought this for my 2-axle horse trailer. I tried it the day after I received it. This works great when lifting the axle to change the tire on another axle. During assembly I checked the wheel bearings. When starting off slowly, the big fat end caught on the fender of the trailer and bent it quite a bit. Eventually I climbed back in before the big end clipped my wing. I then used a chain with a hook to pull this thing out of the way so it didn't completely destroy my wing. I used this on all…

WILL NOT WORK WITH MY CLASS A, 8 WHEELS, TAG WHEEL RV

This jack was a great idea but did not work on my 1990 Airex 8 wheel motorhome. I even tried a 2x8 under the jack but it didn't raise the dual wheel/tires in front of it off the ground. The back of the camper has 6 wheels; 4 are in a row on the axis (double). Each side has 3 rear wheels; 2 side by side on an axle with 4 wheels and one (freewheel) wheel at the back on each side. I hit the jack at the (freewheel) wheel in the rearmost position (rear wheel) on the passenger side. The 2nd set of…
