Blazer C6288 Profile Submersible Trailer Review

Really great price. I have a 2006 Land Rover LR3 that I use to tow my boat. I need to use incandescent bulbs on my boat trailer. They needed updating and perfectly met all the requirements.

Installed these lights in October 2019. They stopped working at the end of November 2019. Less than two months later I found water and rust in the lanterns. They are completely short circuited. See photos. They are complete junk and come with no warranty. Take a look at other reviews of this product and you will see that this is an inherent problem with these lamps.

Cable set too short. discovered this after partially installing the set. I had to hook up additional wires to get to the back of the trailer. I even called the manufacturer and they said the wire harness was 24 feet long. WRONG - mine was less than 20 feet. Be sure to check the length of your trailer before beginning installation. I took a chance because the fish were biting and I had to launch the boat. I had a 16ft trailer so the wiring was adequate and installation was easy. When I put the trailer in the water for the first time, I forgot to turn off the light. I was expecting a short based on other reviews I've read elsewhere. After that I used the trailer 4 more times and so far no problems. I'll wait a few more weeks and see if there's any corrosion or a shorted bulb or something, but for now I like them. They…
