Good quality but expensive.

These connectors are of high quality and make it easy to connect low voltage lights. However, they are bulky and a bit awkward to use.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great PRO connection!

Bought hoping for a secure waterproof fit and they do just that. Quite expensive but definitely better than silicone and electrical connectors. I am slowly replacing all my connectors with these and so far they are working very well! The original connections my landscapers used slow things down and if one connection fails you lose all the lights from there in the chain.

  • Delivery was very quick

Vault-Solid ties for underground wiring

Once you've worked with this, you won't want to go back to gel wire caps or the like. These devices almost screw the wires together - they don't come loose and the watertight seal is complete. A bit pricey but justified by the content of these products and the level of performance they offer. Especially if you don't have a lot of connections and you want connections to never be an issue, these ports are the way to go.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are nuances

that seem like wishful thinking

That's fine - better and easier than supposedly waterproof wire nuts that seem like wishful thinking. This is a problem with thicker stranded wire (like my existing landscape lighting) which tends to kink and fungus instead of fitting fully into the tubes. There's hardly a second chance to insert the wire after it's been bent, stretched, and covered in gooey silicone. DryConn direct instillation connectors are simpler, more reliable and cheaper - you can find them in stores or online if you…

Pros
  • Outstanding overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

Robbery - Misadvertised product

***** Please consider this before purchasing ***** I paid $35 for this product which says 20 pack, I have not opened it until I got it ready for my project. When I opened the package, there was only one plug. I had to go to one of the big stores to find new plugs and as my return period had expired I was unable to return this product. Very disappointed that Revain allows such sellers to sell on their platform. I wouldn't start if I could ***** Please consider this before purchasing *****

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Repeated failed connections

I'm not a fan of DIY. I am very familiar with wiring, mains voltage or low voltage. These connectors are definitely convenient and easy to use. Last but not least, they are not cheap. In addition, they are hardly noticeable: yellow and red stand out well against the general mulch background. But the offer of a strong and waterproof connection without crimping was very tempting. A month later, nearly twenty of the hundred connectors lost contact with one or more of the wires inside β€” and nobody…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
