Good blower, good for art materials

I am happy with my order of this alcohol inkblower. This is a lot easier for me than the straw method I used before. I no longer risk accidentally spitting on my art! I also don't like keeping anything in my mouth when working with non-edible pigments, for my own safety. This works great on smooth surfaces like polypropylene panels. I like to dilute the ink when using the blow technique. I find that pure ethanol (I use a product called Everclear) works very well to increase drying time. If I…

as described but not my preferred way of blowing ink

There is nothing wrong with this fan, it is described exactly and looks well made. It's a rubber ball that you squeeze, which sends a stream of air through a plastic tube that you point at the ink. This causes the ink to spread and spill out. The outgoing blast is strong and powerful, and the ink spreads with a single squeeze. But it was too difficult for me to get a light whiff and not a strong explosion. I don't always want a big splash, sometimes a little squirt will do. My other problem is…
