These strips came quickly and worked exactly as expected. They are colored differently so you can tell which type (red or blue) you are using. Accuracy isn't really an issue since litmus only indicates whether a solution is acidic or basic, not the actual pH.

Using this product in my classroom I can say that this litmus test does what it is supposed to. Blue paper reliably turns red under acidic conditions, and red paper turns blue under basic conditions. They are not intended to provide an exact pH value, but are for general guidance only. I wasted no time evaluating the sensitivity of litmus paper. If you're trying to test something very slightly acidic and alkaline, this might not be the best option.

The information on the packaging on how the color change is triggered is a useful reminder for non-chemists. The product can be improved in two ways.
