Only good for wide flat surfaces, but I only sand plastic on tight radii (yes, I've used the best brushes that can handle it). Also, there are not enough rows of bristles and not enough upturned ends. Sanding plastic again. I should have spent more for something stronger. Lasted about 4 months, maybe used a few times. I started cleaning the pool this morning and suddenly noticed there was a ton of white nylon bristles floating in the pool. Brush pulled out and about half of the bristles broke off with light brushing. I'm not even mad that I have to throw away the $13 brush, I'm mad that those bristles get sucked into my filter when I'm desperately trying to get them out. Save money and headaches, buy a higher quality brush.

The photos of this brush are deceptive. In the photos, the brush appears to be straight and curved at the ends. However, the brush bends in the middle. So if you're brushing a flat wall, the only part of the brush that comes in contact with it is a small part on each side. The gap is clearly visible in the photo. You have to brush the area several times to clean it. Very disappointed. If I had known there was a big gap in the middle of the brush I would never have bought it. It's really useless

I bought this brush 3 months ago and since it is winter it has been used but not as much as summer and the bristles are disappearing quickly. I'll start with a 5 * * * * * rating because it works great when brand new. Over the years I've had three other 18 inch brushes from different brands, all of which started losing bristles within a few (2) years. This time I will rinse the head with clean water after each use and keep it out of direct sunlight.
