The pictures are a bit deceptive. The top bar extends beyond the hanging hooks. So if your door opens outwards like mine does, it won't close when fastened.

I was so happy to find this in this color to match the rest of my hardware. Unfortunately I can't close the door with him! I'm still thinking about changes I can make to use it!

The only problem I see with the design is the top bar. Since it runs over the door, the crossbar at the top is practically useless and would be better placed under the hook. The only feature I see is device stabilization.

I like the strength of this bar, but other reviewers have noted that the extended top bar prevents some doors from closing. I couldn't use it on our bathroom door but I was able to use it on our towel closet door. I would like to find it without a canopy.

I suggest you measure the space before purchasing. It looks great and comes assembled, but it's not as tall and wide as I expected. It's still functional, but I wanted to be able to stack two standard towels on it to hang instead of just one.

It's a little smaller than I expected but hangs easily on the bathroom door and holds a regular sized folded bath towel on the top bar. There are many other towels hanging on the lower hooks. We usually just hang our towels on the bottom hooks because the top bar is quite high and not easy to reach. However, in a bathroom without a towel rail, this is perfect for my needs.

This over door towel rail is exactly what I was looking for, with a lower profile for use on the shower door in our camper van. The bathroom on wheels is cramped and I needed extra space to hang my towels. I complain that one of the hooks didn't have a ball end when it broke in the box. I decided to keep it to myself so as not to suffer a return. Otherwise it's solid and works for me.

I'm glad I have a better place to hang my robe and towel. Too bad this thing won't let me close the door. I suspect my toilet door doesn't have enough room at the top to close it with the product on it. Luckily I live alone and don't have to close the door. But if I have guests after the pandemic is over, I need to move the counter to allow my guest to close the door when using the restroom.

I read most of the reviews before ordering this to alert me to any problems I might have. My only concern was that the hooks that go across the door would be too loose (my doors are 1 3/8 inches thick), but they actually fit the door perfectly with a secure fit. Unfortunately the door doesn't close - it hits the inner door frame.
