Yamslam is such a fun, practical and popular game.

. My granddaughter, who is 6 years old, considers herself a master. The game is very travel friendly as you roll the dice right in the container they are in. I highly recommend this game to everyone. There is also no need to count points as you simply take a chip for each roll of the dice and add it up at the end of the game.

Pros
  • . Great design.
Cons
  • . Not as thick as other picks.

Better Yahtzee. just our opinion.

If you have children who love Yahtzee, you should definitely consider buying a Yamslam. The game takes less time and counting at the end of the game is much easier. With chips and a bit of math, our kids (8 & 6) can easily figure out who won. Our family of four can play three Yamslam games in the time it takes for one Yahtzee game. We still enjoy Yahtzee but definitely prefer Yamslam this time of year.

Semi-competitive Yahtzee

I don't write many reviews but this one was worth it. You'll be up and running with this game almost immediately if you know Yahtzee. When using chips, the player has a simple interaction, thanks to which you can contact your opponent. Nice metal tin, great dice tray (to use with other games when traveling) and a simple, fun game. I'm not a hardcore gamer but I gravitate towards games like Jaipur, Star Realms and Seven Wonders Duel. It's not nearly as heavy, but a good super light filler for my

Great family game/ Easy to score

We've had this game for a long time. It's similar to Yahtzee but you use chips to score. We're not a very competitive family so we usually help each other out with what they need to do to get the best possible outcome. My almost 6 year old grandson played with me last week. And I often play it at family gatherings with my sister and my cousin. We are 60 and older. I stack the coins in groups of 100 for easy counting. The game lasts about 30 minutes. It comes in a sturdy tin containing all theโ€ฆ

A fun new game in our repertoire

We received a small version of this game as a gift. We liked the game and then we introduced it to our brother and sister-in-law. They loved it and every time we visited they asked to bring it with us. We decided to buy one for them to play with when we're gone. We mistakenly bought a much larger version which has a dice pit and the chips are larger, more like casino chips. The soft hole makes the game quieter, keeps the dice on the table, and does not damage the wooden tabletop. Another willโ€ฆ
