As long as the plastic is dry and clean, this tape sticks so well that once applied it is almost impossible to remove. Be careful as it also sticks to itself very well.

This is the best vapor barrier tape I have ever used. It sticks like crazy and is easy to tear (as opposed to trim) to the right length. Works much better than branded tape that is often sold specifically with vapor barriers in mind (e.g. Stego tape, 3M tape, etc.).

This is the best price and works the same as others that cost twice as much. It also tends to tear easily around the edges, which more expensive tapes don't currently have. I X'ed is easy to remove. Why do you want it to be easy to remove? I want it to stay in place for 50 years. Used as a vapor barrier (polyethylene film - thick material) in the basement under the house. You had to make sure it was right the first time - and cut it off if it got stuck. too sticky. It looks like super stuff. Completely satisfied.

I am using Intellio PE film - the best packaging option and was hoping this tape would work. Instead, it literally peels off after 3 days. It literally hangs from the ceiling. I'm still wondering what to do with this tape if there is another application or material it would stick to better. although the description says it will stick with PE.

This strong tape adheres very well to PE plastic. It's also wide and offers a strong connection. It's not easy to work with because it sticks to the roller and is difficult to unroll, but I tell myself it's proof of adhesion. I wouldn't normally mind if it was difficult to get out of roll, but it can be painful to use when maneuvering in a cramped crawl space.

I liked that it was cheaper than other vapor control tapes I had found and was still 4 inches wide. It covers and seals overlaps and gaps well. I started to run out of tape towards the end of my encapsulation project so I started splitting the tape in half (lengthwise) and it worked great! Even using 2" wide duct tape worked well and held up well. Bought to join pieces of water heater insulation panels which I cut to make garage door insulation panels. A few years ago I bought pre-manufactured vinyl covered garage door insulation blankets and they worked great. They don't seem to be made anymore so after installing a new garage door I made my own.
