I ordered a customized version of this camera without the IR filter so I could use it at night. So far it works great. I use a separate IR illuminator that gives me a nice b/w picture on my lcd screen at night. It’s not the highest resolution but that’s okay. It’s perfect for what I need plus, the price is very reasonable. Service when ordering was excellent. They were very helpful. Shipping time from China was much faster than expected also.

I use this to monitor what's going on outside when I'm down in my basement. Powered with a random 12vdc power supply and connected to the composite input on a TV for video signal. I don't know if it's weather proof or not, I have it inside a window pointing out. At night there is very little signal from this. There are no IR LEDS on this like some cameras.

Installed fairly easy however, if you don't take the camera off the mounting bracket first, it is somewhat awkward to mount to the ceiling or side. Nice picture. Simple setup.

These are perfect. Now I can watch the wife eat like a pig on sleep medicine and play back to her. She be denying, but I'll show her.Size of camera is great. Hard to find them this size. Everything out there is large. Picture quality just as good if not better.

If there's light, there's great night vision. In the day the picture is perfect. It's a good camera for the price. It with stood a tornado here in Ohio. I recommend this camera to all.

I've got 3 of these, I knew they weren't night vision, but with a light on the porch and the rear of the house they are good enough for me. I used electrical tape on the connections, plan on getting 2 more later.

Very pleased with this purchase. Nice CCD camera, clear picture, easy to install and use. Used on a museum model railroad display, visitors are impressed with clarity.
