It's not something I could hand off to a colleague and expect them to figure out, but it seems to work pretty well. I really only used the Bluetooth connection, so I can't attest to a USB connection. I haven't traveled far with him either. Seems pretty stable.

What I like the most is that I can use it with any of my devices and secondly that it reads screens. This allowed me to open a report of barcodes on my phone and scan those codes into another program on my PC. It's very small, which makes it easy to work with in most situations.

Has a laser guide but not sure what it actually does because if you aim the laser guide at a barcode that isn't the barcode it's scanning it does that Device pretty much useless unless there is only 1 barcode and nothing else. Look at the HP laptop box and count the barcodes. Don't save time

Works great so far! It scans phones like paper and processes barcodes (1D) and QR codes (2D). It is light and compact and feels good in the hand. It has holes where you can attach a very thin cable, but it's not included. Found it quickly and cheaply on Amazon.

I needed this barcode scanner to scan Signed For labels and add tracking numbers for various orders on our website. I am using an iMac with Mac OS High Sierra. After connecting the USB receiver, Apple tried to find a keyboard driver for it, but I noticed that the scanner worked right away without a driver. Literally plug and play. Functionally, I had no problems with it.

I was looking for a barcode scanner that would work for Apple. Got this device, connected bluetooth and it worked like a charm the first time! I am using this to scan the CEU for EMS courses in Virginia. Very satisfied. Finally found a scanner that works for Apple with the Virginia Office of EMS CEU program! It worked on the first try. Working as a biomedical engineer in a hospital where everything has a barcode or 3D code supported cuts my work in half I inventory a lot of items or Attempting to enter an ID number into a database without typing multiple strings and checking 3 times I could try to remember 9 characters. Normal mode assigns the cursor and memory mode allows me to do hundreds at once. The only thing I can say is that if you have multiple items saved, you need to connect them to your computer via USB.
