I was delighted to receive this today but the configuration app is not working. The Android version keeps crashing and the iOS version only shows nearby Bluetooth devices. The item itself looked ok. Waiting for reviews.

Setting up the beacon was very easy with the app (I downloaded it from the play store following the instructions on the website). I just used the default settings at first, so technically I didn't even have to use the app. But I thought it would be fun to at least change the lighthouse name to something personal. They are almost useless for most purposes without the Eddystone software. However, they are great for location tracking and other functions. I'm still playing around with them and trying to get them to work with friends' mobile billboard service. This beacon was programmed and ready to use, it worked as soon as I switched it on with the supplied battery. It's as small as my other beacons and has a better hull than expected. Without any changes, it supports 3 different beacon profiles by just double-clicking the button. I haven't been able to change the settings yet, but that's not my use case anyway. I can get them direct from China much cheaper but without any support. It's worth it.
