Useful for fabric gluing

I usually use tape for hemming seams and hemming fabric. I wanted to try this because it would make these things easier and faster. And it works. I would give 5 stars but only 4 because the finished product is stiffer than using a faucet. The hem tape leaves the finished product almost as soft as if nothing was used at all. By the way, the package does not include silicone ironing paper, which is recommended to use. So I used it the same way as edging tape and it works great for me.

  • Always liked
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Satisfactory results so far

I have only used this product once so far. Fusing quilting batting with a piece of felt into a little quilt that isn't quite as sticky as I thought, given the hype surrounding their ad. The pellets spread a lot, so do it slowly and keep the container close to the area to be melted. Also, the excess was not washed off as advertised. I bought two containers so I will use them (perhaps using cotton alone will give a different result), but I have already purchased a competitor's product that a…

Pros
  • The fabric remains soft and can be sewn on
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Works as advertised! Love how easy it is to use!

I was very skeptical but I have a friend who needed his sweatpants and bed sheet fixed. I used a cloth razor on the inside of the sweatpants to make a patch and I was able to patch any burn holes that were in the sweatpants. I also used it with a piece of fabric to patch the top sheet where her pup chewed a hole. So far all the patches have held up to the wash and the ones on the sweatpants are very hard to see unless you hold them very close. The stain on the sheets was showing because I…

Pros
  • Ideal for decoration and finishing

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. I tried patching holes in the wool but didn't get results like the video. It dries hard and shiny if you use too much. She just sprinkles powder like it's nothing to worry about, but that's a big mistake. Excess powder cannot be brushed off as it will immediately fall on the fibers. So I've experimented with different amounts of powder and scraps of fabric and would say that with practice I could get the result I wanted, but for a quick fix I don't recommend it. This can be…

Pros
  • Glues the fabric immediately
Cons
  • Exorbitant price
